Historic Logan Mansion
WHPS travelled to Logan Mansion located in Shreveport Louisiana. Built in 1897, the property has been remarkably well kept, the house was beautiful. The owners were very cordial and we were granted full access to the house. It has 3 levels including a large attic. The history of the home reports that 11-year-old Theodora Hunt jumped to her death from an attic window in 1904 and to this day is said to haunt the property. Claims of mischievous activity, giggling and sometimes moaning or crying have been reported.
As with all our investigations we split into groups and took different areas and rotated areas throughout the night. As information we were given during our walkthrough pointed out, the attic proved to be a hotspot of activity. Members of the team reported hearing voices, laughing and shadow figures. We had several hits on our equipment and some EVP’s. We also had one piece of video from the dining room area showing and orb passing in front of an investigator. This was during an attempt to contact the spirit. Video monitoring and review showed the area clear of dust and particles for all 8 hours of the investigation except this one time. It was self-illuminating and originated and disappeared completely within the shot so it was interesting.
This location turned out to be well worth the time. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone interested in investigating.
