Presidio La Bahia
Located near Goliad, Texas, Presidio Nuestra Señora de Loreto de la Bahía, or Presidio La Bahia is a spanish fort that was originally founded in 1721 on the ruins of the failed French Fort Saint Louis, the presidio was moved to a location on the Guadalupe River in 1726. In 1747, the presidio and its mission were moved to their current location on the San Antonio River.
The fort is amazing if not limiting, with most of it being outdoors the investigations presented the group with new challenges. Noises up to half a mile away could be heard, especially at night when the world was quieter, numerous dogs the vicinity, extreme echoes and one of the coldest nights on record, 31 degrees.
The group had the pleasure of having two guest investigators who won a chance to investigate with us through a drawing and brave the elements with us in search of ghosts and evidence.
